Winter Institutes
The aim of the Winter Institutes will be to exchange new research findings and ideas with outstanding researchers including established Senior Scientists and Young Researchers at the University of Hong Kong. Internationally known academics in the field will also be invited. The goal of the Winter Institute is to encourage cross-disciplinary research collaboration. The outcomes of the Winter Institute will include development of collaborative research, co-supervision of research students and invitations for key members to speak. A feature of Winter Institutes will be development of research questions that can be investigated with colleagues in other parts of the University. Another feature will be recruitment of high caliber research students to work on research projects with supervision from across different disciplines.
