Following the successes of the Science of Learning Winter Institute 2014, 2015 and Summerfest 2014, 2015, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Winter Institute 2016. This year’s Winter Institute will be held from 7 December 2015 to 20 January 2016, involving a series of public lectures, seminars as well as two symposiums and two methodology workshops to strengthen our research capacity and to incubate interdisciplinary research ideas. During this period, we are very privileged to have Professor Laura-Ann Petitto, HKU Sin Wai-Kin Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Humanities and Professor in Psychology Department of Gallaudet University, and Professor Kevin Dunbar, Research Visiting Professor of the University of Hong Kong and Director of the Laboratory for Complex Thinking, Creativity and Educational Neuroscience of the University of Maryland resident on our campus during this whole period, in addition to other scholars contributing to the events of the Winter Institute.
