Abstract

The overall organization of brain at a system level, i.e. brain network, and the communication between functionally related brain regions could be affected amid the presence of focal lesion. To characterize the topology of a brain network, brain connectivity analysis using graph theory has been devised. Apart from interrogating network topology, the role that individual brain regions play can also be investigated using such analysis. In this talk, I will give an overview of what structural brain network and connectivity analysis are as well as why the thereof should be studied.
